यह कदम बीसीसीआई सचिव देवजीत सैकिया के हालिया आश्वासन के बाद आया है, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि संचालन संस्था प्रशंसकों के सामने शिखर सम्मेलन आयोजित करने की पूरी कोशिश करेगी।
टूर्नामेंट के शुरुआती दो राउंड समर्थकों के बिना सीओई में तय कार्यक्रम के अनुसार क्रमशः 23 से 26 अगस्त और 30 अगस्त से 2 सितंबर तक चलेंगे।
